I am in the process of reading Stand: Core TRUTHS You Must Know For An Unshakable FAITH by Alex McFarland. I am not very far but thought I would share a few things with you.

Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God.     ~Ecc. 5:7

These are statements refering to insperation of the Bible and understanding it.

  • Christians who dont know what they believe are in spiritual danger
  • Knowledge of Bible truths is crucial for personal growth
  • Christians dont necessarily need to hear alot of new things; they just need to be reminded of important old things   ~ Anonymous
  • Knowledge of scriputure is knowledge of Chirst, and ignorance of them is ignorance of Him.     ~Jerome
  • Unshakable faith begins with the Bible.

well thats it for now.

'Where is Your Faith?'
By: Robert Hosner

Ya know, we get to make the awesome claim that we are living vessels for the Son of God, and that we have Jesus with us all the time to guide the way.  We not only get to say that Jesus is our captain, but that we are Jesus' first mate.  (Bare with the corniness, I promise it's goin' somewhere.)  Nothing this world has to throw at us can stop us!

But what happens when the world does throw something at us and we find that Jesus is sound asleep?  When this happened to the disciples they got scared.  They woke Jesus up by screaming, 'WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!'  So, Jesus got up, rebuked the storm, and then asked them, 'Where is your faith?'

The instant their peace turned to fear, is the instant they took their faith in Christ and placed it in the storm.  'Where is your faith?'  When you face those impending storms and find that Jesus isn't exactly where you want Him, are you going to put your faith in the storm, believing that you won't make it through?  Or are you going to keep your faith in Christ Jesus, God Himself, and know that the course He has set you on will reach its destination?

Supporting Scriptures:

-Luke 8:22-25
-Matthew 15:21-28
-Matthew 8:5-13
-Hebrews 11:5-6
-James 1:2-7
-Romans 5:1-5
-Psalm 119:65-72

I have resourced this from "cfni youth".

I renounce the lie that I am guilty, unprotected, alone, or abandoned becasue IN CHRIST I am totally secure. God says...

1John 5:18 I am born of God and the evil one cannot touch me

Rom 8:1-2 I am free forever from condemnation.

Rom 8:28 I am assured that all things work together for good

Rom 8:31-34 I am free from any condemning charges against me

Rom 8:35-39 I cannot be seperated from the love of God.

2 Cor 1:21-22 I have been established, anointed and sealed by God

Col 3:3 I am hidden with Christ in God

Phil 1:6 I am confident that the good work of Ogd has begun in me will be perfected

Phil 3:20 I am a citizen of heaven

2 Tim 1:7 I have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind

Heb 4:16 I can find frace and mercy to help in time of need.

I did not create these. i have taken them from a resource and the bible.
